Jeff Green born on September 6th, 1962 in Owensboro, Kentucky is a stock car racer in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. He drives the #66 Best Buy Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Haas CNC Racing.
Green announced his arrival onto the big scene by winning 1990 Nashville Speedway USA championship. For several years, Green raced part-time in the Busch Series and finally turned a full-time driver in 1995 and 1996. He then went through a two-year NEXTEL Cup stint with Diamond Ridge Motorsports and Felix Sabates. Green again returned to the Busch Series in 1999.
In three seasons, he won twice and stood second once. He won by a margin of 616 points, an outstanding series record that stood until 2006. Green has raced with four different NEXTEL Cup teams since 2002.
Green has two elder brothers Mark and David. Along with his brother Mark, Green founded 'The Green Foundation' in 2002, a non-profit charity assisting people with severe injuries and life-threatening illnesses. Green currently resides in Davidson, North Carolina with his wife Michelle.
